Steeped in natural imagery not unlike the previous release ‘watch you blur’, ‘lucky cigarette’ is the allowing of letting things run their course: ‘fading into the sun / going west’.

A little something from Cherry on this release:

“Everything within ‘lucky cigarette’ has a sonic purpose, and this includes the insertion of my saxophone midway through the track. I’ve spent a long time away from using I suppose what people may call more ‘traditional’ instruments in my production. The song being an extension of ‘watch you blur’ is interesting, because it’s as though I’ve finally come back around to myself, yet I’m equally entirely changed.”
